MAD Brussels - Brussels Centre for Fashion and Design - is an assessment and appraisal platform and a unique showcase for the development of the fashion and design sectors in Brussels.

Its mission, at the forefront of innovation and focused on the future, is to promote all professions, encourage initiatives and support all those involved in these two sectors, in order to improve their developments and influence, internally and externally of Brussels.
Coordinating the subsidies and initiatives that are designed for them, MAD Brussels ensures the local and international promotion of Brussels creators and designers, as well as investment in the Brussels region by foreign actors. Through the activation of job streams and expertise. Through quality national and international events. Through the development of an international exchange network. The whole, improving Brussels' attractiveness, combined with a revitalisation initiative in the Brussels neighbourhoods that require it.

MAD Brussels emphasizes the position of the city-region among the traditional European capitals of fashion and design, as an innovative centre for dynamic and avant-garde fashion and collaborative and universal design. Created in 2011, the non-profit association MAD Brussels is the result of a close collaboration between various Belgian and European institutions such as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the Brussels-Capital Region and the City of Brussels.
