Bout2Bois and l'Ouvroir invite you to visit their stand at the Hope Fair in Tour et Taxi. Bout2Bois is the story of a carpenter's workshop that makes superb original products from wood waste. L'Ouvroir is the same, but with textile or industrial waste in collaboration with designers. This is called upcycling or the 'circular economy'. It is also a "social" economy because the craftsmen who carry out this transformation are disabled.
The development of these two activities was supported by the Dev'Up Team of Febrap (Brussels federation of adapted work companies). This team was financed by the ERDF in order to create new economic activities for 1500 workers with disabilities. #EUinmyregion
